Category 1: Investigation of marine litter

 

Abstracts related to the investigation of microplastics on bio or non-bio samples, the waste survey of communities and natural environment, innovative methods to investigate microplastics and marine litter, or researches on physiological responses or behaviors on marine creatures ingesting microplastics are all welcome.

 

Category 2: Possible solutions for marine litter

 

Abstracts regarding the proposal or final report on “ecofriendly and biodegradable alternatives for plastic”, “actions on plastic reduction”, and “other studies on possible solutions or prevention of marine litter” are welcome.

The deadline for the abstract submission is at 23:59 (UTC+8), Tuesday, 22 September 2020

Choose ONLY one topic category to submit, please do not make duplicated submission. If your presentation belongs to the investigation topic, please use the investigation abstract template. If your presentation belongs to the possible solution topic, please use the possible solution abstract template.

● Word limit: 300 (authorship and title are excluded)

● ONE page only

● Please check the template for details

Please send the abstracts to us (2020imlfa@gmail.com). The attachments should contain both PDF and Word copy at the same time with the file name: Nationality_1st author name (E.g. Taiwan_ SandyLee)

The abstracts will be reviewed by academic researchers and the results will be notified before 10 October 2020.

Any abstract that fails to follow the official instructions and templates will NOT be reviewed.
